Mark Pressman
Mark Pressman is a principal and a senior Municipal Advisor with over 40 years of experience in the public finance industry. He has been with Wulff, Hansen since 2000, prior to which he owned and managed his own firm for many years.
Mr. Pressman’s tenure has resulted in a long list of professional contacts in the industry, which allows him to maintain a deep understanding of municipal market developments and expectations at any given time. These resources include investors (both retail and institutional), bond insurers, rating agencies, bond counsel, placement agents, and underwriters.
Mr. Pressman takes a hands-on personalized approach to his work with public entity clients, attending numerous in-person meetings and maintaining a high level of client communication throughout a project’s lifecycle. He especially enjoys challenging assignments which can only be addressed by developing innovative and highly efficient bond structuring techniques. He is an expert at developing phased financing projects and has structured both new money and refunding transactions of all types for a wide range of public agencies.
He received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon. He also founded and managed Mark Pressman Associates, a full-service municipal bond and municipal advisory firm, from 1988 to 2000. Professional licenses: Series 7 (General Securities), Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 50 (Municipal Advisor Representative), Series 52 (Municipal Securities), Series 53 (Municipal Securities Principal), Series 27 (Financial and Operations Principal).
